An American health guideline suggests people do "moderate exercise" for 150 minutes at least in a week. A new study shows that this moderate exercise means not walking easygoing pace but walking with smart step with 1000 steps every 10 minutes.

Simon J. Marshall, San Diego State University in U.S. says that is equivalent to the speed to walk around 91-115 steps a minute in the case of women and it is equivalent to the speed to walk around 92-102 steps a minute in the case of men. He also says that it is the speed as if to miss a bus and hurry.
